Dont know. 2 garage mechanics said its gearbox. 1 jaguar mechanic said its sound like gearbox not turbo. And 2 auto gearbox specialist said its defo just your turbo and not gearbox. I dont understand Jaguar specialists said iv never heard turbo make noise lile that. Its sound more like a whirring noise rather then a crackling/grinding noise.
